His areas of interest include the adoption of technology in the classroom, non-traditional learning, the development of online social networks and learning networks, and the changing technology-related needs and traits of today's students. He lives in Bakersfield with his wife and four kids, where he is also a tenured professor of computer science, specializing in web development and programming at Bakersfield College.
